Assassin's Creed Empire coming 2017

The next Assassin’s Creed is rumored to be set in ancient Egypt and code-named Empire. Breaking from release tradition, Ubisoft will skip the 2016 Fall release period in favor of a 2017 release.Rumor has it that "Empire" will predate all previous Assassin's Creed games.  This means that Assassin's Creed Empire will feature events of Ancient Egypt before the time of Altair and Ezio.

The game will feature horse drawn chariots and ships of the ear.  No word yet on any other fast transport methods.  It is exciting to think of the possibles of climbing the pyramids in the days of their prime.

Unfortunately we may not be seeing an AC game fall 2016 but its better to get a good game in 2017, than a repeat of AC Unity in 2016.  Syndicate, despite its minor flaws was a good game when released in fall 2015, but the added time will give developers the needed extra time to overhaul the entire game engine and mechanics and come out with a winner when empire releases.
